Hotsticks end the league top of the table

GREE Sliema Hotsticks finished the 2021/22 National League on top of the table, sealing their fifth win in the competition overall.

Dropping points just once this season, Hotsticks have been in sensational form which has seen them win every other match, including 2 dominant displays against Qormi Daikin.

Qormi Daikin’s victory against Trust Payments Floriana Young Stars was the final game of the season, however, with Hotsticks already notching up 16 points there was virtually nothing to play for.

The result ends Qormi’s run of consecutive titles in thoroughly deserved fashion.
